January Gourmet Group

January gourmet was up at Brent and Sarah's place. Friday night we all arrived in the evening just in time to celebrate Ben's birthday! Then Saturday was the big India feast...which was probably the best Indian food that I have ever had!

I made a white chocolate with spiced pears trifle, that was quite disappointing in my opinion...

Breakfast the next morning was a rice dish with sauteed bananas...

We made our own chai teas before the meal using an assortment of spices and some wonderful Indian teas...

Dessert was a Saffron and cardamom pudding...

This picture really has nothing to do with Vanessa, I just have some very strange friends who want to see my prego belly and this was one of the only pictures that I could find with my belly somewhere in it. I think in this one I'm probably somewhere around 30 weeks or so.
