My cool sister Meagan!

So, my sister, Meagan, is going to graduate from CSU in May and my parents asked if Ben would take her senior pictures. He did such an awesome job (and she's super photogenic), so I thought that I would share a few of my favorites!

I've heard people say that Meagan looks like my mom and I've never agreed with them until I saw this picture and I couldn't believe my eyes-they're twins!

I love her hair in this picture and the following one...

Fun in the snow!

Over the Christmas and New Years week Ben took some time off from work to hang with us! One day was very snowy and fun so we decided to go to the grocery store...on foot. Vanessa just loves getting all her snow gear on and then playing in the snow, she loves it so much that it's pretty hard to get her to come in!

Hey there Marshmallow!

She's a happy snow girl!

Heading off to the store!

When we got back we set up the computer and the raclette for dinner and a movie!

Christmas photos!

So we finally got all the Christmas pictures on the computer and now I can share them with you all! We Went up to Hot Sulphur Springs on Sunday the 23rd and stayed until the 26th. It was a great Schuchard Christmas being up in the mountains with the ones we love celebrating the birth of the One who loves us so much!

A Schuchard tradition on Christmas Eve morning is to have a 'bundle' breakfast. Sarah made some yummy apples that had little 'clues' wrapped inside the apples leading the little girls to a special present meant to keep them occupied for the morning while we did some work...

Then Christmas Eve night the Schuchards have a tradition of 'snowballs', snowballs are vanilla ice cream with coconut and white chocolate mixed in and then formed into balls and then frozen. When served they are covered in raspberry sauce to represent Jesus' blood and a birthday candle on top to celebrate His birthday...

Maddie and Abbey really liked them!

Yet another Schuchard tradition is the game of 'secret pals'. Some time over the Thanksgiving holiday we all draw names to see who our pal will be, it's totally a secret for a month, and during that month we plant little surprises and do fun little things for our pal. Then on Christmas eve night we reveal who we had and give them a gift.

Ben had Sarah and I had Brent, so we combined and got them something together...

Quite funny, Sarah had Poppa and Brent had Oma...

Oma had Brad and made him very happy with season one of the Cosby show...

Poppa had me and I got Pirates of the Caribbean at worlds end!!!!!!

Christmas morning! The girls played ring around the rosie (Vanessa had never done it before and she just loved it)...

Vanessa was dishing out the hugs and kisses, even before the presents were opened!

Her first present to open, it was so fun to watch her! Last year she was only 6 months old so I feel like this was really her first Christmas!

She would only use her pointer finger with her thumb to open presents, it was so dainty!

The following pictures are of her opening a very special gift from Maddie. Maddie made Vanessa a little 'chick' doll all by herself, it is so cute!

Maddie and Abbey both received American Girl dolls from Brent and Sarah, Needless to say the rest of the morning was spent brushing hair and changing outfits!

Well, I said that I would take a 'belly picture', luckily I have a sister-in-law to do it with me! Sarah is due on Feb. 22nd and I am April 3rd...

Yea! Sarah and I both received Raclette grills from Oma and Poppa, we are so excited!

Ben and Brent each got coffee roasters and lots of coffee beans to start them out!

Christmas dinner was put on by Oma and Poppa...

And it was a Raclette dinner, Sarah and I got to test out our new grills!

It was fantastic!

And then we had a Raclette dessert after the girls went down, it was awesome!

The day after Christmas...the girls tried out Vanessa's Care Bear video...kind of looks like it's a nail biter!

She's hanging on tight to Cinderella!

Horsey rides with Poppa!
