All things Vanessa...

This blog is to get us all caught up on what Vanessa has been up to lately! Her newest thing is crawling EVERYWHERE! She's been crawling for a while, but is now off to explore every corner of the world! Though she can crawl, walking is still her favorite mode of transportation, all she needs is two fingers from someone else to steady her and she's off! Her teeth are coming in very nicely and look oh so cute on her! We really want to get a toothy picture of her, but she doesn't seem to think that's a good idea! With being off the floor, her bald spot in the back of her head has grown in and the top of her head seems to be getting more hair, we even put it in a little pony tail sometimes! She's been swimming a few times with her 'girlfriends' and has loved it, we're looking forward to the summer and swimming in the lake by Oma and Papa's house (Ben's parents). Well, that's about all, enjoy the pictures!

These are her swimming 'girlfriends' Lucy and Brisea. Vanessa looks huge next to them, but really she is pretty small, they are just a bit younger then her!

After spending a weekend in the snowing mountains we came home to temperatures in the 70's! To celebrate the nice weather Vanessa and I met Ben at work for a picnic lunch!

Then we played at the play ground!

And yes, we're off to explore everything!

Hello there! We have been having a blast enjoying prime Colorado skiing and then also the beauty of spring as we welcome it in! See what we've been up to these last few weeks...

Our adventures began as we went up to Hot Sulphur Springs, Colorado where Ben's sister Sarah and her husband Brent, and their two daughters Maddie and Abbey live. We were joined by Ben's parents Bob and Pattie, Ben's brother Brad and a family from our Bible study, Len, Miki and Ceinwen Wick. We had an awesome weekend of skiing, eating wonderful food and more skiing...

The guys decided to hit a hill right behind Brent and Sarah's house, so Vanessa and I went along to watch all the action!

One of the major highlights for us this weekend was Ben getting to ski on his new skis! A few months ago he hit a rock and cracked his old pair and here he is on his new skis!!!!!

Here is Brad (in yellow jacket), Ben (video taping), Sarah leading Abbey (who is 3 years old!) this was an awesome day of beautiful snow falling as we enjoyed some awesome Mary Jane skiing!
